The Australian gaming device manufacturer, Aristocrat Leisure Limited, has completed its $990 million purchase of Big Fish Games. Churchill Downs Incorporated formerly held Big Fish, recognized for casual games such as Gummy Drop and Cooking Craze.
This tactical maneuver propels Aristocrat to the second position globally among social casino game developers. The corporation’s third-quarter 2017 earnings, bolstered by this acquisition, hit $6.41 billion in Australian currency.
Aristocrat’s Chief Executive Officer, Trevor Croker, conveyed enthusiasm regarding the agreement, underscoring how Big Fish’s social gaming proficiency enhances Aristocrat’s current dominance in the digital gaming sector. He stressed the possibilities for expansion and shareholder value generation.
